Pains experienced in the back, hips, knees, ankles or feet may be due to a biomechanical imbalance in the feet. The management of these problems may be aided with the use of orthotics.
Orthotics help restore biomechanical alignment from the feet, improve walking and running patterns and prevent long term or recurrent problems.
We will perform a full biomechanical assessment to identify any issues which may be contributing to any pains or problems and advise accordingly.
Conditions often treated/managed with orthotics:
• Metatarsalgia (pain in the ball of the foot)
• Hallux Valgus ( Bunions)
• Plantar Fascitis ( Heel/Sole of foot pain)
• Pens Planus (Flat Feet)
• Anterior Knee Pain
• Achilles Tendonitis
• Tibial Stress Syndrome (Shin Splints)
• Osteoarthritis of the ankle, knee, hip
